Straban, which is the property where Kilburnie Angus is located, is shown at the green arrow on the map below. Travel north out of Walcha on the Uralla/Armidale Road. Immediately after the Show Grounds turn right into Jamieson Street (Kilburnie Angus is signposted here) which becomes Winterbourne Road. Go out of town on this road, past the old Timber Mill, for about seven and half kilometres to the Moona Plains Road junction. At this Y junction bear left (stay on Winterbourne Road). One and a half kilometres from there turn right into Old Brookmount Road (Kilburnie Angus is again signposted here). This is now a gravel road. Go past Brookmount and Emu Creek homesteads and keep travelling for about twelve kilometres to Straban. After the new set of cattle yards on the right the Straban house is immediately ahead of you and the shearing shed (where events are held) is on the hill just beyond the house.
